So this documentary is about Mr. Joaquin Phoenix taking his retirement from his successful movie career in 2008, and deciding to pursue another career in hip-hop singing(rapping, whatever). Courtesy of http://www.imdb.com/
Then again I can respect his choice (kinda) in going from actor to musician (if that's what a rapper is). The life of an actor can be pretty tough, and I guess he's had his fun being an Oscar nominee and all. He did pretty good for himself. He's probably getting a lot of hate at the moment from people saying that he has no business being a rapper and all that. But I say "hey, give the man a chance." I'm actually kind of curious, I just might go see this movie...well rent it...maybe. We'll see.
Holy crap. Actually I just realized...what if like...what if he planned all of this in like an incredibly strategic manner? What if Phoenix knew that if he switched from actor to rapper to get all this negative attention, and then maybe switch back to actor because now more people are going to go to a movie of his because they'll all be like "Hey that actor that's a rapper went back to acting, we should go see his first movie back."
nah.....
